United States Futsal Federation (USFF) sanctioned leagues and
programs based in Massachusetts continue their growth mode of
the past several years. The Massachusetts Futsal
Association (MFA) welcomes new teams to visit existing
leagues, to join in, and to take the first step
today in their title quest for a USFF National Championship!
Soccer enthusiasts from throughout our state and region are
taking full advantage of the off-season months, November
through April, and are participating in the USFF sanctioned
programs offered in some of our area's premier indoor sporting
complexes.
Not all programs are USFF sanctioned.
Not all indoor programs are Futsal and as a result not all
benefit the players as well as does the great sport of Futsal!
- USFF sanctioning ensures that Futsal leagues and
programs are run by select authorities of the sport of
Futsal. Screening of league operators occurs on the
state, regional and national level.
- Sanctioned competitions are officiated by USFF licensed
referees who must renew licensing on an annual basis.
- USFF sanctioned programs offer all participants the
ability to compete annually for the state, regional and
national titles in their age bracket of play.
- USFF sanctioned programs use a special, low-bounce, ball
that fosters the development of excellent foot and ball
passing skills.
- USFF sanctioned competitions take place on indoor
surfaces without walls, again to foster not only quick
thinking of players under pressure, but excellent ball
handling and precise passing skills.

that it's sport is Futsal, and that is not sanctioned by the
